Rumours have been going around that manchester shockwave are no more! well its true. It was a tough call for owner Russ Steel but his decision was final and we had to respect it when he told us. As many of you know its not easy running a team now days with monies, commitment etc to deal with, so when russ was approached in buying the tream cpl spot he seriously considered it. As we speak now the team is a few days away from being bought from an unknown or should i say a team that wishes to stay anonymous. It has been a real tough one to accept but life goes on and we must look at what this team achieved over its 11 year reign. One of the most talented bunch of guys ive played with and we were like a big family. Lets hope that the way british paintball is and the millenniums monopoly doesn't desolve any further teams. Big big thanks to DYE and the jeff for all they did for us for the last 2 years cos without them it would not have been possible, thanks to all our past sponsors, big thanks to big boss russ cos he was our backbone and without him some of us would have been stacking shelves in tescos and finally thanks to my team mates "my brothers in arms" who at times i could have murdered but always knew had each others backs covered. It was the best 6 yaers of my paintball life but sadly has come to an end! Cheers to all those who supported us and shame on those who find it amusing that we have come to an end. There will be a massive hole to fill for many years and maybe never filled by an all british home grown team. Good luck to all you ballers out there and respect to the "UNIT"
