End of an era. Long live the "Sponge".

Just a word or two to say thanks to Jimmy "The Sponge" who, after a long and harrowing journey with us (and that was just to Turkey and back) has hung up his elbow pads and is passing on the mantle of Tigers Captain to someone far less able (that's a joke Ali)
All the guys are sad to see him go but wish him all the best in his new venture, returning to the woods and the pumps

With out his imput and leadership the guys would not be the force they are, and hopefully will continue to be, good luck mate and don't be a stranger.

Before I even played a game of speedball, I saw a video of the hyperball championships and Jimmy the Sponge cleared the field to end a dramatic game. It was on that day, from watching that game, I decided to take things as far as I could. Thanks for all the games and for showing us how to play ball!

As I said in Turkey Jim, Good luck mate for the future. Of course we will still see you from time to time. Been a pleasure for all these years bro, even if we have been hot headed together a couple of times. Must be something to do with our surnames!
