I'm quashing a rumor about Castle Conquest 16, coming up in September. For those of you not in the know, EMR paintball park (New Millford, PA) hosts a day event called "Castle Conquest." 200 defenders hold a castle against all comers. This September, the 200 defenders will be using pump guns ONLY.
There was a rumor going around that the 200 slots for the defenders had filled. So, being my usual self, I did some investigating. I called EMR directly. The confusion over Castle Conquest is basically a communication error. If you call asking about Castle, they think you mean Castle 15, that's happening THIS WEEKEND. The deferners for that ARE Filled.
Castle 16, FALL CASTLE CONQUEST, is NOT, let me say it again, NOT FILLED!!!
Translation, the pump defense is still open to all comers. I just signed up today for the weekend of play. I"m in the castle, and there's room for more of 'yall in there. :twisted:
