Hi,

I've just got an Empire AXE with an Infamous Bolt, and I'm considering getting a red line board/grip, and was wondering what people thought of this as an upgrade, is it worth it?

Cheers for any help,

Luke

Can you get on with your gun as it is, or do you need a window to see what your doing. It`s that simple.

Cool thanks, will see how I get on. Normally shoot a Geo which has a screen so looks like I might be getting one, will see how I get on first though.

Redline is way cooler !!!!

It is as simple as what care_bear has said, however, I do not believe the standard Axe board is Millennium Compliant - I may be wrong but I know that earlier in the year Lump wanted to borrow a Redline for Campaign Cup.

The other advantage of the Redline is you can customize your own settings and store these but with the standard grip you have one stored lot of settings, and if you take the battery off and leave for more than 30 seconds then this resets to standard and you need to redo your settings.

I have 3 Axe's and one has the redline as standard as its the XSV model, another I have upgraded with the Redline and the other one I have been uuming and arghing about either upgrading to the Redline or to a shockwave board.

Dont get me wrong, the standard board and gun are great, we have 15 altogether in the team and only 7 have the redline, and yet all the guns keep up with each other.

The real question is, Are you a big enough Tart to want more Paintball shiney things ???? If yes then buy one !!

;)

Oh yes it is !! the Axe Board has a Millennium mode, just touch the button 4 x times, also it`s not 30 x seconds to change the battery you need to change it in UNDER 10 x seconds to maintain the mode your in , otherwise it automatically goes into Semi, So have a practise changing the battery ... Quickly.

I did not see the benefits to be honest Luke, just set the standard board and leave it alone. For the money I would get a shock wave board. I thought it made the grip feel abit bigger for some reason and did not find as comfortable in the hand.

I guess I'll just see how it goes with the stock board for now, will definitely be getting the shockwave board if not the redline at some point though. Cheers for your help James :)

Put a shockwave in my lads mini. Worth every penny just to get over the battery swapping and resetting issue. Found it much easier to use than the stock board.
