Hey guys just a small querie here, i have an empire magna loader and at first it was soooo perfect, but now whenever i start shooting semi at around 9 to 12 bps the loader stops feeding and i have to shake it to make it feed.

On one BPS it shoots fine, no troubles.
The hopper is set too the highest speed aswell so its not that lol.

Also when the eyes are OFF it will shoot fine as when it stops feeding the bolt creats a sort of shake when it dry fires and gets it feeding again, although it stops feeding aver 5 to 10 balls, requiring a quick shake.

Anybody gort any help on this or troubleshooting tips would be great cheers.

does the loader still spin when it sticks? if it does, the clutch is slipping. Knock it to one of the slower modes.

What plate magnet arrangement do you have?

the clutch slips when their is too much pressure applied to the balls, so plate/magnet config and power setting does make a big difference. The clutch wont slip during dry firing, as their is no pressure being applied.

Thats why i asked your plate magnet config. :)

Just found the manual online, and that tournament set up is too weak. Dont think the magna loader package comes with the star shaped plate? as that's the best one and applies a good consistent pressure but still slips when needed.

Have you had had the hopper and clutch assembly to bits at any time,it's just that i took mine apart to clean and i didn't reset the tension spring correctly, and it just wouldn't work for me,it would shoot 5-10 balls and then it would jam.

Try this

If you put your finger into the hopper and try to turn the clutch paddle in reverse (clockwise) it should spring back into place, and if you turn it in forward (anti-clockwise) the clutch assembly should have tension due to the slip clutch/magnets,but if it spins around a couple of times freely then it sonds like your spring not been reset correctly.
