The Avatars are based on the 08 Events but without the removable ears. The avatar also doesn't have the two little clip things that stop the strap from turning that are not actually necessary. (if you have these masks you know what I mean).

The E vents 09 is a much better mask than the avatar i think its the best money can buy. (Some may not agree but not many)
Whilst the avatar is a good mask you can have problems with voice projection but not with the E vents
I Think they use the same lenses but if you want to have a look on the Just Paintball website you will be able to see the specs, wright up and reviews for both the masks and the lenses .
Hope this helps m8

Yea thats not a bad price m8, i take it thats a used price
If you wanted a new vents avatar they have them on ebay going for around the£27 to £33 mark and the post is less than £3
If you were talking £20 new then snap them up
On the other hand if you end up going for the E Vents 09 the best price you'll get them new if you shop around is around £65
Good luck with your purchase :)

They've only been worn once, but not actually used

Mate, when it comes to buying your goggles, buy brand new. You can't put a price on protecting your eyes, and you don't truly know the history of a lens in a set of pre loved goggles (how it's been cleaned, whether it's been left on the back shelf of a car in direct sunlight, or in the boot next to a petrol can etc). It's exactly the same principle for buying a motorbike helmet. We all like a bargain, but some things just aren't worth saving a few quid for. Oh and don't go cutting the little label out of them either, or the chin strap if there's one present. The moment you do, God forbid the gogle system fails safety standards in any way when you are using them, all warranty becomes null and void......due to them being altered form the manufacturer's original design. Leave the little tag alone, and simply zip tie up the strap with small zip ties. Might seem anal I know, but it's fact.
