Hi all I'm a complete newbie to the autococker days, I currently rock with my geo 2.1. Been looking at some of the old school markers e.g autocockers and I think they look pretty cool. So can anyone help us out, as I'm looking to get the new resurrection.

Maintain the thing doesn't look very easy or timing thing is like what's that? You have to understand Im from the days of battery in and off it goes. So any help would be grateful. Thanks,

I brought myself one for Christmas and I love it. Like you I'm a complete novice when it comes to autocockers but you don't need to worry. There's nothing to maintaining it. Clean the paint and dirt off and a little lube on the bolt and that's it. No need to worry about messing around with timing or anything. Only thing I had to do to mine when I got it was turn the velocity up a little.

If you are seriously thinking of an autococker, I personally would get an older one off of here. Just for the fact that if you dont like it you can get pretty much all of your money back on here. Where as if you went for an empire one new, you would lose some from it being second hand (depreciation). Also cocker are not newbie frendly. As so much can go wrong if you fiddle. But then again once it is set up correctly, it is just as easy as air up and go.
