Hiya all,

Both me and my mate want to / are getting into paintballing.

So we both know nothing really, i've been a few times on organised days with task force / delta force etc and really enjoyed it.

What i was looking for is some advice really about what the different types of guns / games are available and what they entail.

I literally know nothing. So what gun should i get for a starter and how much should i be looking to spend ??

When you go to 'practice' etc what does that cost ?? can you take your own balls ?? Does anyone know anywhere around Newport / Cardiff where we can go apart from the large places ??

Sorry for all the questions but i dont want to go spending hundreds for a **** gun that i wont end up using!!

depends on the type of paintball your wanting to play.
if woods you'll be fine with a mech marker like a tippy or a a-5.
if sup'air an ion, pmr or slg will do fine.
and when buying kit buy it of here rather than brand new.
oh and have a search throught the newbie section and all will be revealed.

well practicing can range from £15-£30, and paint is usually about £20
if your going to play sup air, a pmr and slg, will do perfectly as that guy said,
i played my first sup air field on wednesday, and it was great ,

you can get a good starter gun(pmr slg) from on here 2nd cheap for the same price of what you would pay for a new tippman e.t.c

If you can, try out ALL of the gear you are looking at before you buy it. That is the best comparison

As these fellers say, buying second hand off here is a very good and often cheap way of building up your kit.
