Non electro's were a plenty before the Electro market took off. Now its become affordable... or atleast half affordable to get an electro of some sort.

When it was all mechanical it was easier to match players in a tourney equipment wise. Now its gone electro and not as cheap as mechanical markers, it is a little hard to match your rival.

Being out-gunned is not necessarily a good thing, and speed seems to be everything these days. So i would try a tourney with your setup and see what needs to be changed / added to compete.

A hard question seen as its not standard to view the mechanical vs. electro side of things.

Give it a try or ask around some more.

Good Luck With Your Cocker Building. :)

Rufus- Don't feel you have to upgrade because the opposition has it. Skill and the ability to read the game count for so much more than being able to pull your trigger quickly.

Good luck

exactly, we played div 4 for 7 games, but one team was a scratch team made of lots of Am team players so i wa really worried cos they all had angels etc...then i realised, all the other teams we had played had all these expensive markers etc and we had beaten them, we got the scratch team down to a 1 on 1 but lost:(
