It's simple, the revvy has a paddle inside it that turns when the neck detects that there isn't a paintball in it.

The shape of the paddle on the motor ensures that the balls are agitated and not crushed. The agitation causes the balls to clear the feed tube "bridge" that can happen and allow the paint to feed cleanly.

I never had a problem with my revvy bursting balls, even with the vortex impellor which practically threw the paint nto the feed neck.

The Revvy only kicks in when it needs too - quite cool really, you'll be laying there in a trench when all of a sudden the thing wakes up and stirs a few balls of paint up :)

Even a Revvy on Intellifeed where the paddle turns every time the trigger is pulled won't mash you're paint:D

I know that, but when you're on your side in rec-ball, you'll probably have the gun at a weird angle to keep as low as poss.

Altho I played with a Shocker at the last Academy and it whirred randomly... maybe just because the Shocker got paint out a bit quicker than I was used to ;)

I was chatting to the Apoc Young Guns and apparently one of them had a duff revvy, but noticed that if he pointed his tv remote at it, it would fire up.... so he took apart his remote and tried to put the sensor from it into his revvy! lol... I'd be impressed if he got it working... :D:D
