Hmmmmm... I am going to be tactful about my response. Lilfreighttrain, I make $100 a month. I have no opportunity for an extra job. I have not gone out in the past 3 months, except to play a tournament (which my 3 man team took first in), and I am taking my tax returns and buying a brand new 2002 Fly Angel LCD. I am far from rich, it is tourney legal, and I am very conservative on my paint. I have very much taste, sift through the threads and read my views on Style v Functionality. It behooves you to think a bit before you post on a well respected, internationally know, web site for a great magazine.

Usually aren't tourney legal huh? So how come just about every single tourney player at Am level or above runs one, & probably a majority of Novice players?

I will respectfully suggest that you a) read these forums for a while and b) learn just a teeny weeny bit about this great sport before you start posting what seems to be intentionally provocative statements again. There are a few people who post here that can get away with that kind of thing, but unless you really feel you have the status of a Robbo or Tyger in your preferred aspect of the sport, don't.

Oh yeah, as Phoenix says you can be careful with paint with an electro, you don't have to shoot at 12 bps just 'cause your marker can

Well atleast lilfreighttrain was honest about electros being expensive! He could have posted Angels SUCK! But he told the truth! But I would have to say I am very tasteful! I don't have money to burn and I am not rich! I make a good living and save to buy what I want. Now as far as expensive you can buy the JT 6.0 I think for the same Price as a Stock Cocker. Also Spyder offers an electro for around that as well! So maybe you should do some research before you run your fingers lilfreighttrain... LOL :D

everything paintball related is overpriced . lilfreighttrain I suggest you spend some more time playing the sport and reading what other people say , in one post you complain aboput high end markers and in another you talk about lighting up new players not the most sterling topics .

Wow!
I have an electro, and soon I'll have two, as well as a custom Cocker! I have no taste! My favorite passtime is sitting in the yard, burning paint, meanwhile repainting the exterior of my house in a tasty shade of Diablo.

Congrats! This has to be the silliest thread so far!

cost of the game....

i dont know how true this is but i heard somewhere,in a dream, from someone talking to me,read in a magazine-i cant remember where from but is it markedly cheaper in the USA because the sport is so much bigger and predominantly most of the products derive from there too(sorry if im wrong).this might be a hazy thread but there is something in it somewhere.
@ the end of the day money aside players play with there own budget,if you want a top end marker save up for it and work hard for it and then it will be all the more sweeter when you buy it and play with it.otherwise just do what i do and harvest body parts to fund your armoury.i just sold one of my kidneys here in London and got a good price down at smithfield meat market on saturday before playing on Sunday.shop around because nearly all body parts are sellable.
next time you see the one eyed, gold tooth removed, one legged, one armed player mugging you its me and these small sacrifices make playing so much more fun...
