I got my hands on one of the first ir3's produced (No. 27. One team mate has No. 13 and another has No.7) However they don't seem to have all the features of the stock ones. For example, no gated feed, and i can only see 1 hole on the side to adjust the trigger. Also i was wondering about how i could check the electonics. What s this MEM4?

Any ideas or can you recommend an upgrades or mods for it.

Cheers,:)

Mem 4 was to do with what type of board and trigger variation you have. You've got the prototype ir3's so the first thing i would do is upgrade to mem6 which is far superior. Feed tube is up to you you can get a gated feed if you want or you can leave it as the high stack one it is now.

The trigger isn't adjustable like the real ir3's are so your stuck there mate.

can't remember....sure kerry or gaz and that will be able to let you know. possible you might have to buy a new board. It's not a must have thing straight away btw mate, just a better board that functions better...

Only diff. between mem4 and mem 6 is COPS II, so if you use COPS it might be a good idea to upgrade, but if not, mem4 is no different. You can do a board swap at any of the sponsors at www.angel-owners.com for, and don't quote me on this, but I think $75. Gated feed isn't all that spectacular, if you're using a force feed system it makes absolutely no difference anyway, balls are not going to be pushing back up into the feedneck when they've got pressure upon them forcing them downward. Far as trigger pivot points go, you could always try drilling your own? Does your trigger have three holes in it? I don't see how it could fit in the Space Frame if it didn't, I'm pretty sure that's the only ones they made. If you're trigger has the three holes (or you buy one that does), it'd actually probably be pretty easy to make your own pivot points.
