My housemate has got an elderly halo, an A i think.

I was wondering do they have an eye in them, cos his just keeps straining against the paint even when not firing (I don't just mean the spring, i know that stays wound, but the moter keeps pulsing as well). Is it meant to do this or has the eye gone?

Cheers again :)

yeah it has an eye in the feed tube. If it is still pushing maybe the eye has paint on it, it just needs cleaned.
Hope it helps.

if it had paint on it, the motor wouldnt pulse as it would see paint and not try to feed. unless of course it is black shelled paint which is covering the eye.....which leads onto my next point.
could it be that he is using black shelled paint as halos cannot see this, hence my batteries dying on sunday and me hand feeding my cocker at the big game while storming the farmhouse as the warriors :D
