i got a new kit last kit: 1 3-pod "Jacko" belt, a gravity VL feed hopper, an Inferno Terminator semi-auto marker with molst of the extra tidbits thrown in, a 20lb Co2 tank, 4 100ball FatBoy pods, 1 200ball Planet pod, a thermal SCOTT mask, Rhino paintall gloves, bodyarmor, a neck protecter, a 3 disk pull thru with a fluffy thing attached to the end, extra parts (o-rings, bolt pins, a valve, gas feed, etc,) and a large tube of "Battle Lube" and a 1lt bottle of lubricant oil, with a manual, a PGI barrel sock, and other bits of know-how on paper thrown in.

altogther, a good-sized starter kit. Or probably better. :) But that's not enough for me - i need a team.

OK so there was that article in PGI 174. about gettin on a team, but thers another problem apart from all that; when hav u ever seen a team of 10 with A4's and thers a 13 yr old kid in the team with a Tippy? not me, but it wuld be a hell of a...rare sight lets say... :D

Big problem; the only trigger (an ELCD trigger to be exact) that can make the thing electronic, is about £125. To be honest, that's more than my new marker was if you took everthing i had away in the deal i got for my kit.

Any ideas wher i can get a CHEAP trigger system for an inferno terminator, or if im goin on for a reason that has bugger-all point to it. And how much an Angel ir3 wuld be if i joined a team sponsered by WDP...?

And if u hav a team around the Caversham Hights area in Reading, England, and is reachable by foot (i can carry my stuf on a bike, plus it woz stolen, and we dont hav a car) then call me plz
I NEED A TEAM!!

anyhow, how old do u need to be to play in tournaments???

If you want inferno stuff contact powerball as there sister company makes them so they will get u wat they want. There is no age for tornies, i played my first one at 13 :) . I might have a spair place on my team going, but will need to check on that. If your interested post here, or pm me and ill give you some more info. And i think it will be hard to join a team sponsered by WDP if youve never played a tornie before.

Hey, I don't think you really need an electro trigger for your inferno, electro is overrated i think for guns like that. From the infernos I've fired they have a short enough pull to keep piling down paint without a problem!
Hope this helps

since when has twizz been a girl?

not much point spending £125 on a mod for your gun as it simply wont be able to lay paint down like other ones, look around for impulses(cheap if not upgraded) and these babies are already electro and are going pretty cheap at the moment

sorry, but i just gotta make a comment about that 20lb co2 tank, do you have a special back pack harness for it or will you wheel it around.

good luck in finding a team anyways.
i use a normal autococker in the few tournies i played, get used to the game before spending the cash, snap shooting doesnt require electro and if you master that, your well away.

good luck

A couple of points. Firstly - Ally, there IS a minimum age for most tournaments, usually 12 or 14, due to insurance reasons.
Secondly - flyingSQU1RR3L, if you can't afford a little over £100 in the forseeable future then you may be a little overambitious talking about joining a tournament team as the average tournament will set a member of an unsponsored team back around £50-80 a time, without accounting for any travel or accomodation expenses. And to be brutally honest, a total newby 13 year old with an Inferno, even one with an electro trigger, isn't going to get a place on a team with a decent sponsorship deal. That said, many teams will be happy to let you practice with them and maybe take you up when you can afford to go to tourneys etc.

I would suggest you save up for a while rather than playing & spend the money, as Cockersrule suggested, on a decent 2nd hand Impulse or something similar which would allow you to compete on a level ground equipment-wise (or blag one from your parents for Christmas, as it's that time of year).

Take it slowly....... if you rush into trying to find a team, then you are going to be in debt before you leave school. Any local sites near you? maybe you could practice there. Maybe get some work too? eventualy marshal when you are old enough. Keep practicing, maybe then, once you can afford tourney you can dazzle a sponsored team :) great to see people starting to get serious so young, paintball is on the up.
Good luck fella.
