egos 05's and 06's

Hiya ya load of old ballers....lol.

i am going to ditch my ion in the next few weeks and go for an upgrade to an ego.

i was wondering if anyone could shed any light on the major advantages of the 06 ego over the 05. I have read in a few places that they are not that much improved and that if your just looking for a nice, quality marker then an 05 will do everything the 06 does only a bit cheaper.
But if there are any real drawbacks in the 05 against the 06 then please enlighten me before i go spending money..

They are pretty much the same. Different milling, slightly different boards. The real difference is between 06/07.

You dont get much more bang for you buck than an 05 ego. I can assure you that you will notice a great improvement over the Ion.

agreed, hungry on air until you brake it in and drop the dwell/lpr but what gun isnt

05 all the way

had my ego 05 for 3 years nearly.. and it has never let me down......all guns have bad paint days .but with maintance after every use .. hands down 05 all the way ........its sleek, easy clean ..easy strip and easy maintain and space to up grade ...like new frame, board, internals, +1s (tool-less removal of the eye plate),barrels ...ohhh theres just so much

and its a planet gun so send it to em and they'll fix it.......


i really will never sell my o5 ..........its that good.......


p.s got one for sale ....black ...polished eye plates (one of a kind) and fully maintained by me ......also this gun is so unused ....(all ego owners will know this) that the breach still has its anno on it and is a true sighn of how much it has'nt been used .....but if you want a vid of ity rippin just ask and ill make one..........price £300 with bottle £250 without

06 looks better but 05 better value for money...
i went from an 06 ego to an angel A1 and i just want my ego back they are such good guns

So i am not the only one lighting up the garden, i think mine has seen about 1000 paintballs since i moved in in april. Although my neighbours (all about 20 of them) are pretty cool as most of them shoot air rifles in their gardens anyway.
