Ego7 board trouble

I gassed my ego7 up yesterday after 7 months in my kitbag. Everything seemed fine, however it would not fire. Swapped out frame and main body with another ego and got it shooting fine with another frame and board. Therefore I came to the conclusion it was the board. What's baffling is that the display lights up and all the functions work, it registered trigger shots and I can hear the solenoid clicking. I tried 3 new batteries (Duracell) and the eye and solenoid connections look fine.

Anyone have any ideas or am I looking at getting a new board? Cheers

check if the board is set to opti or micro switch first. Then check the back of the trigger if its activating either one.

also try resetting the board to factory settings

failing that try disconecting the eye wires from the board and try it then
