ok, i took the reg apart last night to clean and stuff and noticed that the reg only had 15 washers instead of the 16 stated in the manual. I've rang planet and they are sending me out a washer.

My question is, what will happen if i use it with only 15 washers?

Probably nothing. I have heard of people using them with 15 and not having an issue. Maybe not as consistant?

Double check that you do noy have one stuck inside the reg?

There are definately only 15 washers.

It's been fine since january when i got it and i never gave the reg as in depth a clean as i did last night so i never noticed before.

Some people pay thousands to buy the latest milled down ego, in the vein hope that its half a washer lighter than the stock version.

You have saved the weight of an entire washer for free. Thats like your very own PL super light ego... call it the SL6000 or something.

no, not really. I would like to know what difference it makes 16 or 15 washers.

Proberbly a different pressure range. 16 works la:

)()()()()()()()(

So 15 would be:

)()()()()()()()

Not giving as much 'spring' meaning you could put a higher pressure into your gun (is screwing it in rasing the pressure?). Not 100% on that but i imagine its something along those lines.
