Ego07 / Zick 2 Rammer compatability

I just bought a Zick 2 rammer - my research said it would fit in an Ego 7 no problem, but the rammer seems to have a longer back than the stock one - did it originally come with a shorter ram cap?

Yeah I'm pretty sure it came with the back cap
