Ego07 help

ok i'm probably being noobish but i got this in a trade, put fresh battery in (duracell) but screen flicks from 'full' battery to what appears to be a small square with a 'hook' on top , turn on air with no leaks, (dry firing.....) pull trigger and fires with two loud bangs then drops pressure and get 'put-put' noise with bolt staying forward on some occasions (bolt pin is in correctly), leave it for 1-2 seconds then fires in the same cycle as stated above, i havent owned an ego since 05 and recently had a Geo+ with no problems, marker has recently been serviced at planet too.

any help would be appreciated, thanks

On my phone so I'm not going to look it up but check the manual to see what that symbol means. As for the firing problem it sounds like some sort of problem with the reg recharging so just give everything a good clean and remember grease on the lpr and hpr pistons, gun oil on the rammer. Also make sure the lpr isn't screwed in too far, it should be sitting about flush

only manual i have is for a 05 ego and displays are slightly different and doesnt show the symbol i have in said manual.
as for the stripping down and cleaning.....its just come back from planet after a service so all that should have been done.

also if anyone could post a link to a ego07manual pdf or something similar, that would be good aswell thanks

ok all sorted, found a downloadable manual, seems you were right liam....stripped reg and lpr, cleaned and relubed and all is working greatplanet hadnt touched them, doesnt seem like them but hey everyone is human and all is good

that symbol i believe is an 'unlocked' symbol which i need to put to 'locked' .

No problem dude makes sense now that symbol will just be there to say if the tourney lock is on or not.
