im sure this question has been asked 100 times befor but hopefully that will make it that much easyer to answer.

im looking for a new barrel for my ego 09 as im not too impressed with the accuracy of the standard one.

just want to know which one people are buying and what they think is a good option

Most people buy the un1tec. Because its the best barrel ever designed.

But it wont really be much more accurate. Just quieter, lighter and shoots through breaks better.

To get better accuracy you need better paint.

Yup. Its far better value for money than the stiffi.

There isnt a lot to choose between most well made barrels. Its just a tube to fire your balls through at the end of the day.

If you want better accuracy you need better paint.

Try getting hold of an SL barrel kit. They're pretty good. It might be the paint you're using though as my ego barrel is very good.

It's the barrel you get with the SL ego. You could once buy it on its own but I don't think you can any more. Might be worth keeping an eye out on the classifieds though.

The standard barrel is not a bad one. I would suggest it is probably more likely that it is the paint or paint to bore match.

Most people buy barrel kits so that they can get a closer match as stock barrels are normally on the large size to minimize the chance of paint not fitting through it so even if the match is not close it will still work.

the standard eclipse barrel is fine as it is. planet wouldnt let it out of the factory if it wasnt the best it could be. shoot better paint
