Im thinking of gettin a couple of things for my Ego(05), maybe a nexus bolt(ive got the dart bolt) and maybe a new barrel(iv still got the barrel that came with it).

so wat would all you good people reccomend????

A abrrel kit is a good idea.
Planet will do you a Shaft kit with 3 or 4 backs, and a front, in the colour you want for £79.99 I think...or just buy a different barrel kit.

The 1 pc shafts are like marmite, u either love it or hate it

my 1 pc shaft is great and i shoot it over my Ultralites alot of the time.

Is there anything on the gun that u dont like? change that is an aftermarket part will amend it

But otherwise the ego is very much a shoot some f**ker in the face outta the box job.. so why bother

Well what about getting a Karma Stainless Steel Rammer Cap for the Ego?

Thats a good idea...apparently...you can just do this up thumb tight, with no ill effect...however, some people like to really lean on it...and ferk up teh head, so they cany get it out...this wont happen with a Karma....it does not need to be tight.

There are adjustable ones as well, Hybrid for example...only buy one if you like the look of it, and teh ability to remove it without tools, as teh adjustable side of it, is NOT required, and will only give you grief if you do...I have one, that said.

My team have shot egos all 05 season, none of our caps are damaged - in theory there a good idea but the chances of u rounding such a bighead is relatively slim unless your hitting your hex key with a mallet... then it be a good idea

Get rid of the Dart bolt, the nexus bolts are lighter (When you change the pin to stock pin or delrin pin), more efficient and softer on paint suprisingly.
