Ego Velocity Problem

Having problems increasing the velocity on a New Ego.

Middle of a game the velocity just dropped of and would not come back up. We have the adjuster out to the Max, still no increase. Thought a bit of oil through the internals would do the trick, still no increase. There just does not seem to be any force from the bolt at all.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers

Do you have any leaks at all?

If not it sounds as though your marker is being starved of air somehow? Check the inline reg for any dirt, clean and relube it.

Check also to make sure you OOPS is fully depressing the pin on your air system (assuming it is a preset) I had mine 'screw out' a bit and it was not fully depressing the on the air system pin.

Is the LPR ajusting nut at the front flush with the cap itself?

If none of this helps try looking on www.egoowners.com for help :)

Jimmy,

Wind the adjuster screw on your inline regulator all the way out, and then using a hex key wind it two full turns in. This will give you a good starting point to set your velocity, and will a dwell of 8.0ms will only require a small adjustment to get you shooting at 300fps.

If you are still struggling, then check that your rammer and bolt are well lubrictaed with a light 3 in 1 oil.

Thanks,

Nick.
