EGO Valve Spring

Right guys a couple of guys from a new team have bought second hand ego's. One has had the valve spring removed. The guy who they bought them off said it made the ego more consistant.

Im not convinced as my ego is consistant as hell. Trouble is i couldnt get th ego with the valve spring removed to chrony above 165fps.

Does this have anything to do with it??

Will leave that to someone more experienced than me (though I'd be pretty confident that Planet weren't whistling dixie when they put it there in the first place), but also make sure the two LPR springs are the right way round, and on mine, the chrono problem was solved by servicing the regs and replacing the rear O-ring on the rammer
