Right guys got a slight problem.

Changed the battery on my ego and brok both of the battery fixings that touch the terminals of the battery.

The parts that have broken have snapped where they bend over to make the curved connection.

Ive wedged tape underneath as a temporary fix but dont know what else to do.

Any idea's???

ha dthis problem on a DM6 board so dont know if its possible on an ego board but i think it probably is

desolder the broken metal tags from the board and solder on a soft top battery connector lead..

easy eh ;)

its very simple to do if your comfortable with soldering ..if your not (and a lot of people aren't) get someone who is to do it... it should only take about 10 mins to do asuming its feasible ..

its only a + red wire - black wire termination but if you dont solder well then you could screw up the PCB so find a mate or a tech

when they were first released i remember reading a few threads along these lines about the tadao boards.
i think if you contact them they will tell you to send it back to them to be fixed.
dont quote me on that but before you start messing with it id check that the manufacturer will or wont cover it.

Wills boards do indeed rock, but...I prefer the 7 colour LED and I cant see much performance difference between the two.

Thing about Will over MIke is..WIll IS a programmer as well as a baller, so he instinctivly knows how to make a board do what he wants...Mike is a baller, but he has to tell a programmer what he wants it to do, so there could be a little lost in translation...but, in my opinion, the 7 colour led is far superior to the single colour led's on tadao boards.
