Ego star frames

Ok, for anyone who has a nexus, mantis or XSV ego, what is the good thing about the Star Frame over the normal standard ego frame (i'm sure you all had a standard ego).
I can't afford a Nexus yet, but because the new frames are out, wondered if there was any point upgrading to it.
I have the star trigger on my ego at the mo which I think is mint, so how well does the spring on the new trigger frame assist fire?
