Ego Software

Hey, Im posting this for a mate, so might not know all the details..

His Ego is running software v1.04, obviously its possible to get it reflashed to the latest version, but how would he go about getting this done.... Is it as easy as sending the gun (or just the board?) into Planet, and if so, what do they charge?

Also, can anyone tell me what the main differences are between the two....

best bet is to phone planet, but im sure its free to get the board flashed/updated, so its just a case of sending your board by post, but a phone call to be sure

Send it in they'll flash it to 1.08 for £10 of the queens finest

Whats the diff between 1.06 and 1.08.... anything sexy?? I would imagine new ramping modes and some debounce retweakage.

The main difference is that there is no Version 1.04, whereas version 1.06 and 1.08 both exist
