ego o8 barrell

When you say "too big", are you talking bore or length? I'm a big fan of unitech barrels (no seam in the barrel and clear out really well if you do get a break) and use one on my ego. Chat to the guys at warped if you want one of them. Barrels are really all preference these days though.

i got a 16 inch sl barrel on my 08. shoots like a dream. very accurate
also got a unitec barrel if were using fragile or cheap paint for training as it shoots through breaks really well.

i use the stock ego barrel works a treat for me, it is possible to get different backs.
unless you get a set of backs you will always have the problem of some paints falling through it

Mate probably the reason for this is its winter paint tends to be smaller , and i normally start off in the morning with my .685 back on my ego , then increase it through the day as it warms up.
The best option here is to either buy 2 shaft backs from planet .685 & .689 or like a few of the guys have already mentioned on here the Unitechs barrel kit.
