this mite sound stupid, but im just checking . i know lowering the pressure on the lpr reduces the force the hammer moves, but does this also mean that it reduces the air forced onto the ball, there for being able to shoot more brittle paint ?? i'm assuming it works the same as the trix lpr but i dont want to feck things up.

oh well back to the leaking down the barrel :(

cheers

I posted a similar question and this was the response - not sure if it helps though :D

the LPR controls bolt pressure, I.E. your bolt will move harder or softer. lower pressure will have less kick, and allow u to pinch instead of chop (if set at the right pressure). higher pressure will increase kick, and can also increase chops

If you take your EGO to the chrony and slowly lower the LPR while you shoot and watch for the velocity to drop, this is the point where the cocking pressure drops to a point that the rammer isn't hitting the valve hard enough to effect full opening of the valve, causing a smaller air blast to propel the ball. Raising the LPR a bit will give you the minimum cocking pressure.
