ego leak

i noticed today that there is a very small leak down from the breach,
so im guessing its from the rammer???
or could it be the noid???
i havn't got the correct fitting allen key for the rammer cap so i cant get it off to re-lube(which i did yesterday and it was all good) or to change the o-ring but which one???

What ego is it?

make sure the grip screws aren't too far screwed in cos they can pinch the noid... just loosen then if so

its an ego7 and the grips where not screwed in so cand be that.

and one more thing. as the gun is pressurised the bolt doesnt move obviously but it does move about less than a 1mm which it does normaly but when i move it slightly forwards about just under 1mm and the leak stoppes. so would that confirm its a leak from the rammer?

just checked in the ego manual and there is the number 08 o-ring but no number 16???

change the #9 oring on rammer. AKA the front o-ring.

I have the same leak on my ego 06 mate.

After taking the gun apart and putting it back together again a stupid amount of times, i think i have traced the cause of the leak to the exhaust valve that sits at the front end of the rammer housing.

I found this out by doing the following, try it to see if this is the same problem on yours.

Remove the bolt from your marker so you can see the rammer bolt through the hole in the bottom of the bolt chamber.

Just in front of the rammer bolt you will see the end of the exhaust valve sticking out of the small brass guide.

If you apply a little pressure with an allan key or screw driver to the end of the exhaust valve while you have your air bottle on the gun you should hear a change in noise from your air leak, which i assume means you need a new exhaust valve kit as the one on the gun is letting air through before the rammer bolt strikes it.

Just ordered one for mine so will let you know how it goes.
