ego leak

rite iv just bought an ego 06 and everytime i gas it up there is a small air leak coming from the on/off where the little hole is at the bottom of it
how do i stop this ?

I can help you with this, well, i say 'I can', i had this exact same thing happen to me and Nige (Spreadz-07) helped me out with it. Here is what he said:

hi dan
it is the o ring in your oops mate. take the knob off and pust the pin out of the oops. reset the o ring (or use a new one) on the pin and push back into the oops, that should cure it.

he was right as well

oh, almost forgot..also, it is the smaller of the 2 orings on the OOPs, it sits right in the end where the pin goes through.

iv toke it out and everything seems fine with the o-ring should i change it anyway?

i changed the small oring in the end, and the larger oring just to make sure, i also gave it a tiny bit of Dow 33 lube just to be on the safe side.

Everything is working fine now.

bet you didnt even know that little oring was there...i opened it up and i didnt find it either, someone had to show me where it was

a drop of eclipse gun oil will probably solve the problem if you dont have the oring to hand...

ill be at NQ tommorow so if someone could take a look at it for me tommorow that would be great as i just dont wont to be doing something that i dont have a clue what to do and if i did id probaly end up with just the barrel left by the time im done
