Anyone know what the imput pressure is on one of these. I'm guessing a 450 preset will work no bother like an Alias/Speed 05 etc. But just wanted to check they don't require a HP preset like a cocker?

Anyone know?

Ta muchly...

I honestly think they are High Pressure, as my air system worked on one of them and the other had a Evil Scion on it, and i use my system, on my NeXus.

I think Jack posted somewhere else that the Crossfire is the only LP output preset he'd recommend on the Ego - otherwise, use an HP preset.

Just read on PBN the crossfire LP is the only preset he would suggest at that pressure for the EGO otherwise you might get shoot down :)

That would be where I read it then :) Although I think you read it subtly differently to how Jack meant:

As for the Tank, I run mine off an 800 preset and it works sweet. A 400 would be too low, as the recovery rate of some presets is not good enough, and it could effect consistency and drop-off at high ROF. In fact, I would only recommend the Crossfire LP output Preset if you want to go for a LP output. Really, just get a HP and that will work with anything.

So an HP preset is fine (well he's using one!)

I don't see the benefit in using LP presets TBH - they don't do anything an 800-850 can't do, and at the higher pressure you never have to worry about flow.

The =benefit of using a LP to a HP no I don't see the benefit either. However some markers like the alias model timmys, fly, a4, 05 speed won't let you use a HP preset without adjustment out of the box. In fact I think you can't even adjust the newer timmys and they have to run on the 450 preset for some reason.

LP crossfire is going anyway... got a nice HP crossfire on the way!! :)

Odd we had 3 timmies on the sharks and used pmi hp presets on them all.
(untill we got the scions)
But mine worked fine on a hp.

Strange they warn not to put that much pressure into them :)

Hence Miami etc all using the LP version of the crossfire.
