Just wonder how people got ther regs apart. Need to clean and lube mine, just cant get it apart. have tried lots of thing but still wont budge. Ney ideas??

Basically hold the upper portion in one hand (or a padded vice) and twat the air elbow with something suitable.

DO NOT!......wrap a tea towel round it, then get teh moles on it...teh tea towel offers little protection and you will scratch your reg!!!

Give it a bit of brute force dude, if u want i can bring in my granny jar opener 2moz an u can have a go with that, makes jars easy for old people, and has helped me out with some stuborn bits of balling kit!!

grip the tow halves and it should unscrew.....dont twat it with anything.

if needed use a padded vice and a strap wrench.
