ego grips on an eblade?

not really sure where to put this thread...

i was looking thru planet's site and i was wondering, will ego grips fit on an eblade? it looks like they've got the screws in the right place...

also, will they fit on an E1 frame? or will E2 grips fit on an E1 frame for that matter?

As far as I know, all the same. All the Eclipse grips will fit on all the frames, Ego06, 05, E2 and E1. Likewise with the Hybrid grips, although take care with screw depth.

...thought the 'e' blade tronic frame for the cocker was wider than the new ego frame? might be worth callin' planet to double check...

my ego grips will not fit on my nexus e1, holes in the right place but you will have to hollow the back out of the grips to get them to screw up flush, not worth the hassle to be honest

Onw rod of advice be craful as the hybrid's especially on the egos are thinner, be carful not to screw up to tigh, other wise youwill shoot straight through the solenoid.

Grips from EGO's will not fit on E1 frames, the solenoid was bigger on the original frames and is wider than the frame !

they will go on if you get a mqvalve or hollow out the back a little

I'm in the process of fitting a STAR frame to an evo cocker body. It's a bit of work and not for the feint hearted. You will need to line up the front screw hole of the star frame with the body and machine off the rest that protrudes forward (the STAR frame is longer at the front than an E1/E2 frame) to get it to fit. You can get it all to fit if you have an MQ valve.

E1 & E2 grips can be swaped but ego grips are thinner. i asked Nicky T a few months back when i was in the shop
