ego front reg, stock or aka?

ive got an upped 05 ego (nexus bolt, tadao) and recently aquired an aka sidewinder reg, looks nice on the ego and i know that the aka is quite highly regarded as one of the best regs but am i likely to see an improvement? and an improvement in what?
am i right in thinking that a reg that can provide more flow will contribute to less variance in fps at high rates of fire? if so is the aka going to be better?

i fyou already have the aka whack it on, the sidewinder iis one of the best on the market, behing the aka 2liter and 2liter+

the sidewinder has an incredibly quick recharge rate which means your gun will always have the bulk pressure, this will typically improve velocity grouping especially at high rates of fire.

i spose the best way to tell is to put a string of balls over the chrono with each reg and see what the variance is like!

It's actually a combination of the recharge rate...better balance (internaly) and much better consistency, which will equate to more consistent pressure behind the ball, which equates to small shot grouping (accuracy).

05 ego regs are pretty good to be honest, its a reg i wouldnt of thought to replace lets put it that way

look on the scene and see what people are replacing, most of the time they have been done for a reason, timmy regs definately, ion regs again... ego's tend to keep the stock reg as do Any Dye gun
