Ego Frame Help

I've been given a Star Frame for an Ego but looking at it with a standard 05 board it seams to be a genuine 05 star frame. Can someone confirm as I'm guessing that means no 06 boards for it then.

yep thats a 05 star frame

and no 06 boads wont fit as the trigger barb on the 05 is on the right hand side whilst on the 06 its in the middle, i did manage to get an 06 maniac board running in my 05 with a sliver of tin can superglued on to the triggerso it activated the opti-sensor but its a pain and not worth it

Thanks, thought it was an 05 Star frame as no bottle opener. Oh well better hope a cheap 05 upgrade board comes along.
