Ego eye problem? possibly?

i read through the manual, and it says when the [ icon appears instead of a ( it means that theres a problem with the eyes, and it'll shoot a max of 10bps.

no idea why its got that problem, but it does, I then took the eye covers off,changed the detents, cleaned the eye, and the reciever, replaced, fine.
Still have the problem?

I dont know how long its been like it, but i've only just noticed, I havnt done anything to it to make it to do it (as I only got it last week, and havnt even aired it up yet)

How do you think I can fix this?

actually, i was just looking at mine, mine isnt booting the the [], wierd as it normally does until something blocks the eyes...?

Hmm, I opened up my grips earlier, to change it to ramp, and I saw the eye thing on the right (the one with the red shrink wrap cover thing) one of the wires / both of the wires looked like they'd been cut into, almost, well not cut into, but they dont look that healthy

When I turn on the gun, its the () then I block it, I get (+)
once I take a shot, it goes straight to [ not [] just [, then I remove my finger, and I get [] then I put finger in again, I get [+], take a shot, it goes to [

well the eyes are deffo working if you get +, they are seeing something in the breach.

have you noticed this while playing, or does it only happen when you chuck your finger in the breach?

i only say this because that is the exact same as mine does, and mine works fine with paint. so i guess your good

The eye will think there is a fault if you just put your finger in the breech you need to try it with paint. If you are getting the + when you put your finger in then you should be fine.
