The dm series and the Pm series especially the pm6 are extremely good with delicate paint- the horror stories about constant maintanence are nothing but that - no more maintanence is required than you would do with an Ego (which i have owned), just unscrew the back plug and it all comes out easy as pie- quick lube and back in it goes.
Reliability - it's a trix, keep them greased an they'll go on and on and on. Plus Dye Uk are easily as good if not better with their support than planet at both events and from their croydon warehouse.
Weight - the pm6 and dm6 are the lightest matrix's so far, they're slightly larger than shockers and a hell of a lot better.
Speed - You'll never find a trix wanting in this department and with a whole manner of chips and boards available any new software change is easy to get. One thing about matrix's is the ease of shooting ropes of paint- they are an extremely stable shooting platform and as such don't kick around allowing you too focus on putting paint on the bad guys.
falling back on the age old saying
'try them and see which one you prefer' if you meet any of $outh Coa$t Quake (my team) at any event, ask for a go on our PM6's
Our backs are shooting ropes, 7 pots + hoppers with a good barrel paint match on a 1.1 @ 4500
