is anyone else having probs with the ego chopping,
tried loads of different settings.no luck.

Do you have the upgraded bolt & detents? if not you will need them if using a reloader B,
Try these settings pulled of the ego owners group, They are the stock settings but work fine for me but then again I'm not using a reloader.

Is the eye switching itself off? It will do that if it detects/thinks there is a jam, make sure they are clean & aligned correctly,mine is an early model & doesn't have the little nubbins milled in the body to ensure the eyes can't move down,so I make sure the cables are pulled well through, so i have to push the eye down & in place when putting the cover back on,this was around the time off the upgrade so don't know how much difference it made if any.

Wow - such technical insight! You must be the Team Tech eh?
Didz - have you tried lower the Reloader B setting? Settings 2 and 3 can be very harsh, and are known for smashing brittle/poor quality paint.
The only time ive broken paint is when i used cheap poor paint even shooting fast or the last two in the realoader on setting three i set the loader to two and seemed to stop that.

I had trouble with my Ego aswell it was choping every ball and it turned out that my ball detents were broke so i put new ones in and it works perfectly try looking or replacing them
