Ego Board

Ok I fancy a new board for my 05 ego, so which one should I get, why should I get it and finally where do I get one from in the Uk.

Would like one by 19th March if possible as I have a tournament that day.

Well you could wait a bit and get the 06 upgrade grip frame and board, or if you are happy with what you have get a virtue or tadao.

Virtue and Tadao are both very good personal over which you prefer though. Virtue has millions of adjustable ramp modes along with all the normal ones semi, ramp, NXL etc etc. Tadao has the same but no adjustable ramp as far as I know.

Skeet will be able to get you one, maybe by the 19th you would have to ask him

Right having played around alot with my new virtue today I think it all comes down to whether you prefer optiswitch (stock board) or microswitch i.e. you can actually feel the trigger pull a bit like on a real gun. Not sure which I prefer yet but on the virtue and tadao you obviously also get all the extra modes aswell

I've got both Tadao and standard boards for both my 05 and 06 egos and in all honesty i prefer the standard boards main reason is the triggers as i prefer the optiswitch and if set up right can be as fast as a tadao or virtue in the right hands. Tadao is great for messin around though full auto and unlimited ROF

Yeah Charlie11 I prefer the feel of a microswitch.

Other than that the ego is fantastic.
