Ego Board Hum?

When i select either the opto/bbes hi power/solanoid hi power the board seems to hum.

When lo power/lo power solanoid/switch its fine.

I have also had to set the debouce to 1 or 2 for it to detect the opto break.

Any ideas, never heard a board hum before...

edit...its a humming board not a humming bird, thanks for the pm haha

can i suggest you open the grip and see if you can pinpoint where the hum is specifically coming from.

yep, its near the upper section on the pcb, by the solanoid/eye connector and opto/switch.

This is quite normal and nothing to worry about. Some of the boards make a whistling noise which if i remember is caused by the eyes. Some boards are louder than others and some dont do it at all. If you are worried about it then if you are at the Northern Masters this weekend myself and some of the other guys will be there bring the marker over and we will havea listen just to confirm.
