Ego board battery

Do any boards which use standard PP3 9V battery work ok with good quality rechargable pp3 9V?
Or is there some reason you shouldn't use them?
Also, does anyone know the pcb term of the battery connectors on the stock board or the tadao board (the battery prongs things) I need to buy some from somewhere.

Chris re-chargeables are fine, so long as you use decent quality, but they dont last as long as throw-away alkaline batts.

Your best bet is to solder a harness on like the one in a halo, that way you wont have any further problems. I'll pop a few in the post for you if you like, i've got hundreds i bought for a uni project once.
