i find that my eclipse barrels are fine
as long as they are clean and scratch free and used with decent paint (preferably large bore sized) they are golden

you will get lots of coments saying one particular barrel is better than the rest and also comments saying different bores sizes dont make a difference etc etc..
ive tried loads of different barrels and the ones i personlay think work well on the ego is the un1tec 3 piece kit 3 choices of bore 685, 689 , 693 all u need really
I Have an SL which you get the backs 685, 689 & 693 but still use my unitec barrels
whether there's a major difference i dont know but the unitec barrel seems to shoot a bit straighter

I know what you mean about the un1tech barrels they do the job bloody well and for the price you can't get better.
The planet barrels are high quality barrels as they are. If you want to upgrade it'd just be down to your preference
The planet one peice barrels were spot on.
The early 2 peice ones were very problematic but that was a long time ago.

Have only really ever shot shaft 2/3 barrels with my ego's but have been itching to try un1techs after all I heard about them.
Bought a 16" from Foot the other day and tried it out this morning....WOW!!
I've never seen anything so straight - if I stuck a sight on it I don't think I would have missed anything I was aiming at. As it was, after the first ball, everything hit EXACTLY what I was aiming at.

Ive been using the sly merc barrels for a while now and i have to admit it is the loudest barrell you've ever heard, people can tell exactly how many shots i've fired and where i am on the field but i love it and would never go back, i've tried the stiffi barrells which worked like a dream but i can't get away with the look of them.
