hi all probably a real simple question, What kind of lube should i use on the thread of my barrel? I got an ego 06 and the barrel keeps undoing itself. I hve been spraying silicon oil, when changing barrels etc to keep the threads from cutting into each other.

I read on the forums to keep away from dow products on any ego.

So can anyone tell me the correct lube or grease, vaseline etc for holding the barrel in?:)

O ring ok but whats the correct lube

O ring ok but whats the correct lube, surely people put grease on their barrel threads? It just that well the ego body is aluminum versus say a steel barrel. Over time the aluminum will wear down. I want to prevent that as much as possible.

Most barrels are ally, and over the twenty or so years i've been messing with markers i've never seen a barrel thread worn out on a marker.
If you feel it neccessary use a silicon based grease.:)

tx for the advice guys

:)

i didnt want to throw on some mechanic heavy grease as well o rings might disappear. I do use grease which is better dow 55 or slick grease? I think dow 33 is very light and well i am using silicon oil at the moment.

I going to get some from lips unless someone else know different.
