hi all

well my ego 9 has just stopped fireing' gave no signs before this happened.
i have a spare pilot vavle as i had to replace the solnoid last year. i fitted this but still nothing. i have also tried a new battery.
the display shows the trigger pull and i tried setting it the mirco switch with no joy.
i have noticed that with the pilot vaule plugged in to the pcb, when i pull the trigger the display breaks up with black lines going across it. with the pilot vavle unplugged this stops.
anyone able to point me in the right direction.

Some more details please.
any noise what so ever when firing?
any aftermarket parts installed?
What did you do before the issue occurred?
Also, when you say new battery? What brand?

Hi
There is no sound what so ever when the trigger is pulled (apart from the mirco switch clicking)
Upgrade wise, it has Cure 4 bolt, plink kit, barb kit and Zick 2 rammer.
I always use Duracell batteries.
I was shooting away and then it just stopped no odd sounds just stopped. Was showing a ball in the breech but would not fire.
As i said above now when i pull the trigger the display breaks up.

Coolio,
First thing I would suggest is that you try it with a new battery (from a different batch if you bulk buy and preferably a top notch one. I.e Energy PB, Duracell Gold and Brown ones. Energizer Hi-tech.)

After that, if that hasn't worked. Try changing from Opto - Micro or vica versa and give it a bash like that.

ok will buy a new battery and try that. I've already tried switching to the micro switch but that didn't work.

Is the Air getting through to the gun ?? I mean it could be the pin on your bottle could be bent ? or perhaps you used some PTFE tape to hold the elbow or perhaps have some around your Macro line going in to the Elbow ? because I`ve experienced before now using a pair of tweezers trying to clear the porting on the Low Reg getting bits of PTFE tape out , which actually blocked the air from travelling into the gun. Just an Idea !!
