Ego 8 display

Hey just went to use my ego 8 after about a year of not playing and when I turn it on the display is just White with no info and then switches off again until I press a button I know it's not a bad battery because it works fine in my ego 5 , any ideas on what's happend and how to fix it? Thanks

if the marker fires i am thinking the lcd screen (if you have the uprated board in it) in just buggered if not the board maybe gone did you leave the battery in the marker ????????

It's just White its as if it was on bit there's no writing in it and I always take the batteries out

Just because it works fine in your ego5, doesnt mean it's a good battery. Try a new, fresh one, of a high quality. Batterys are dodgy things, and definitely should be the first thing you check and replace.

Replace the battery and have a look for any loose soldering

i've had this problem, i had batteries which worked fine in my etek1 but whenever i'd shoot my ego8, the board would shoot all sorts of problems my way. like dave said, Just try a brand new fresh battery, see how it goes because batteries will work kind of differently depending on what they're being required to do; whether it's a LCD display screen or LED lights. (And none of those ****ty poundland batteries, those things NEVER work)
