ego 5 virtue laser eyes

hi i have tried to fit some virtue laser eyes in my ego 5 and i am defo having a major problem with them i can get them lined up bus as soon as the covers are on or even the littleist knock knockes them out of line has any one else had any problem or know what i can do i have tried to use tape on them as well but it no use any help would be greatfull thanks

Used some of these ages ago in an 05. From memory the 'eyes' are square but the eye slot is rounded. So I had to very carefully sand down the corners so they fitted.

After that no problems but be very careful with the 'sanding'.
