Ego 11 two piece barrel

Hi Boys and girls,
I need some help if there is anyone out there in paintball land that can help!
I used my ego 11 on sunday at formula 5 and now for the first time ever I cant unscrew the front of my two piece barrel. I believe the o ring is tight and I can't get a stong grip to turn it.
Any ideas to this problem would be a great help.

Use the sort of strap wrench used for car oil filters

Or careful use of mole grips ,padding and a vice,making sure you turn the correct way.

Pour some hot water over at the joint then use a pair of rubber gloves for extra grip first.

Then put some lube on the oring and don't over torque things like everyone seems to do in paintball

marigolds is the way forwards, and remember it's reverse threaded.

I can't get a good grip, tried the marigolds, guess I will keep trying a bit later give my hands a rest. its doing my head in. All I was doing wss taking a picture of the marker to put it up for sale now ive got to undo it before

try sticking it in the freezer for a while then quickly run just the joint under boiling water.
