I would e-mail Stoney with the s/n of your marker and he might be able to tell you what warranty/service use it has...

I thought they came with at least one complimentary service, but I would ask Planet to be certain.

sounds like its already serviced after everytime you play, no need to send off if this is the case.

Best advice I ever had with Planet markers was don't touch anything apart from a little oil to the bolt.

Some may say it was bad advice but my eteks have worked flawlessly so go figure.

If it ain't broke.................

I am going to send them both to Planet for a service at some point in the near future. Not to do that would be stupid.

I've had mine since March and got it serviced at Basildon. They said it didn't really need it - says it all really.

They also told me how often I should oil it, since all I knew is it was rarely. I was told every 3 months, but other than the bolt it can go even longer without needing a greasing.

As far as servicing goes when they did mine it looked like they only did what you can do at home. Strip it down, oil it, replace any worn o-rings. No need to post it off unless it isn't working at all.

As Niallist said - If it ain't broke: Don't fix it.

yeah just clean your eyes/detents and clean/lube the rammer and the bolt after every days play..
and do a full strip/clean/lube every couple of months or so, well depending on how often you play i guess
