hi, ive got an ego 10, it was working fine for my first couple of games and then it would not fire a ball, it would still feed the balls but enough to sort of fire them half way down the barrel. like there isnt enough air getting through, also when i remove the bottle the bolt is still solid and wont budge like there is still air in the marker.? thanks

hey buddy , dont know what is wrong with your marker :( , but it might be worth stripping the marker and having a look at the solenoid ;) and try putting new battery in it , it might help ;)

cheers for the help, i completely stripped it down today, and found that there was quite a bit of dirt and paint in the section connected to the lpr and the solenoid was in need of a good clean as well, buteverything is working fine now :)

when you take your bottle off there will still be air in the marker, when it goes i the hpr and lpr it pressurises and stays there till its vented out or fired. this will answer the bolt question.

personally i turn the eyes off and fire it once an it empties it. (keep your barrel sock on though)

c'mon Mark, get with the times mate.

Since the release of the ego 09, there was a new saftey feature introduced with Eclipse markers, the new inline regs now self purge all the pressure/air from the marker when you unscrew the ASA knob or POPs. There may still be a little pressure in the low pressure system, enough to push the bolt forward, but not enough to fire a ball.
