Hi all,

Can anyone give me some help as my marker is broke

I would appriciate if i could fix this myself without sending it off to PE.

The marker has only been used over a few weekends. To describe the issue I am having with the marker:

1) Marker is firing intermittently, with some balls chopping,
2) When the trigger is pulled I can here a popping sound, but the bolt/rammer does not move
3) I have tried firing with the eyes on/off, which still has the same problem,
4) I have tried dry firing, which also has the same problem, albeit, sometimes this doesn’t replicate the problem straight away.

In have tried some maintenance myself, though limited to what I feel comfortable doing. This included checking and oiling the o rings on the bolt and rammer, and also cleaning the eyes. Neither action resolved the issue.

Any ideas,

You may already have done this BUT if not do immediately

95% of egos problems are cured by changing the battery

EVEN if the battery indicator is saying the battery is OK change the battery.

I forgot to add that to the list too, yes i have changed the battery, it wasnt that unfortuately

i would start by winding the reg all the way in, then resetting your dwell to about 12, then slowly start to increase the velocity on the reg! see if that help!

Make sure the bolt pin is in the rammer properly,

Maybe check the asa pin, and o rings just to make sure its connecting fully to the bottle?!
